Get Goals In Shape!
Are Your Efforts To Achieve Going Nowhere?

Marge and I want to tell you about this very special outline for attaining your goals which many people have used and are using effectively.
It’s very simple.....to achieve your goal, first pray about it....why, to be sure it’s right for if it isn’t, it’s wrong for you and it’s not at all possible to make a wrong into a right.
Only the right wanted achievement will go right in the long run...
Pray and get a clear picture whether you are wrong or right in your achievement setting.
If the answer comes that the achievement you’re working for isn’t right, STOP....go no further with it until it is right.
Second....when you’re sure you have a right goal, form a picture in your mind of yourself as succeeding to reach that goal. Cast out all failure thoughts and hold only a concept that you’ll obtain your achievement.
If you hold this picture in your conscious mind it will be taken over by your subconscious mind which is the real center of your personality. All forces, mental as well as spiritual are working for you to achieve your goal.
Third....go with the assumption that you aren’t working alone. With prayer, you have a partner whose knowledge is complete and whose guidance is constantly clear and without error.
Affirm consistently and hold the belief that you can do all thing with your prayer partner.
The fourth element is that you check and double check your understanding to be certain that your purposes, thoughts, and acts are honest, unselfish, ethical and construction.
Fifth.....you must think positively at all times, never negatively, keeping your mind open for fresh insights, new ideas, unique approaches and creative procedures.
Beware.....once you start thinking and believing positive, things move quickly and your goals seem to fall into line.
The secret of achieving success is to get in tune with the rightness that governs all things. The more “rightness” the better and more successfully you will do your work a achieve that goal.
There are many instances of the practical working of the above principles that it’s importance can not be minimized. It seems that no one need be defeated or frustrated when you can bring into play such simple applications.
Want to know whether you’re on the right track or not? Doing the right thing in the right way?
Do you want to know that you have it in you to do something really worthwhile?
Do you want to be sure your thinking and your actions are absolutely honest?
There’s a way to find out these things about yourself and it’s easy.
How good, or not so good do you honestly feel about yourself after you do whatever you do?
You have a built in “censor”. Your censor tells you clearly whether a thought or action is right or whether it’s wrong. It doesn’t deal in “ifs” or “buts”. It never argues a matter or rationalizes a decision. Its conclusions are never gray....they are only black and white, meaning, they are either wrong or right.
Believe it or not, your “censor” likes you and is working for you to succeed at whatever goal you have in mind. It only wants your success and happiness.
But.....one the other side of the coin.....it will not compromise and go along with you when what you want to do is wrong or when you don’t see why it isn’t ok and argue that everyone else is doing it.
The only standard your censor has is simple. Is it right? And the reason it’s invariable in its messages to you is that it wants to shield you from failure and from the misery that results from wrong thinking and wrong doing.
Your censor is really not a killjoy! It’s a builder of joy! It’s for you, not against you.
What happens when you do not heed your censor’s counsel? It creates within you a vague, dissatisfied feeling. It may even be a low-grade, but persistent self disgust that comes when you commit a known wrong.
OK....what really is this thing we call a “censor”? Is it conscience? No, it’s more basic.....a censor works in even unlearned or irreligious people. It is a natural part of a human being. We all are endowed with it. It’s a natural part of a human being.
A sensitivity to rightness and wrongness is in all of us, for even the most ignorant have a bell that rings inside them when they act mean or dishonest or cruel to a fellow being.
If you don’t what to trust what we’ve been saying, consult the dictionary.....there you’ll find in plain English a definition something like this one: “Censor - the force that represses unacceptable ideas, impulses and feelings and prevents them from reaching the conscious mind.”
Your censor works like a “good parent”.....it disapproves when you’re wrong and sounds a warning.
At any rate, the extent to which we react and respond to the inner censor pretty much determines whether we become a happy person and attain the stature of success in reaching our goals that we desire.
Why don’t you test your actions and decisions each day by asking yourself the following......Do I feel good or uneasy and uncomfortable about what I’m doing or about to do?
You can list your good actions on a sheet of paper and your poor actions on another. Do this until you develop a natural instinct for making right, ethical decisions.
There's no time like right now! Just do it! Marge and I want you to be successful! You CAN make your dreams come true!
