Our home is on 10 acres and there’s about 100 more acres around us with a lot of trails for great riding enjoyment.

If you think maintaining two horses is cheap....know this:

Our feed for pellets and hay run about $200 per month for Spirit and Tex....

Ferrier to trim hoofs every six weeks is $50 every six weeks for the two horses....

Vet for coggins and standard shots run $250 every 6 months for our two horses......

Every other month you must "deworm" at a cost of about $10.00 per tube of dewormer.....two horses would be $20.

Luckly we own our own 10 acres or we'd have to board....if you have to board the adverage boarding cost is $300 per month per horse.

Let's not forget about the "tack".....

You can spend a small fortune on tack which, includes an adverage priced saddle, all for about $2000 per horse.

Should I mention the "cowboy boots" at an adverage of $100 per pair...you should have at least two pair...one for working out at the barn, coral, or whatever....and one for dress. "Cowboy hats" are at an adverage of $100 for felt hats, $50 for good straw hats....."cowboy shirts" run about $35.00 per shirt....I could go on and on.....

The point here is....Site Sell and Site Build It has made all this possible for Marge and I!

The next time you’re alone with your horses, take a look at yourself. Be aware of your mood, your body language and your unspoken messages. Take in the messages your horses are sending and give them the feedback that says…..”I understand”
